ABOUT THE STUDY

God Owns It All is a six-week small group journey that helps you discover what it means to see money the way God does. Together with others, you’ll explore biblical wisdom on ownership, giving, debt, contentment, and eternity—finding greater freedom, peace, and purpose as you align your finances with God’s design.

The videos for this study are taught by Ron Blue who is a Christian financial author, teacher, and the founder of the Ron Blue Institute, which equips people and churches to apply biblical wisdom to their finances.  The leader guide and study guide for this study was created by a team of volunteers and staff at Olive Branch and is meant to support the videos as well as thematically connect with the Sunday sermons too.

INDIVIDUAL GROUP SESSIONS

SESSION 01 // We begin by exploring the foundational truth that God owns it all and that money is a tool He uses to shape our hearts and direct our trust. This session challenges us to examine our financial lives as a reflection of our faith and stewardship.
SESSION 02 // Money reveals what we truly believe about God, ourselves, and security. This session focuses on aligning our beliefs with God’s Word so that our financial choices flow from faith and trust.
SESSION 03 // Generosity is the antidote to greed and fear. By opening our hands, we participate in God’s Kingdom story and experience true financial freedom.
SESSION 04 // Debt is shown as a presumption on tomorrow that can rob us of today’s peace and tomorrow’s freedom. This session explores practical and biblical ways to break free from debt’s hold.
SESSION 05 // Drawing from Paul’s teaching, this session emphasizes that contentment is learned, not earned. It challenges us to define “enough” so we can give and live with joy.
SESSION 06 // Our money decisions echo into eternity, shaping our legacy and impact for God’s Kingdom. This final session calls us to align today’s choices with tomorrow’s eternal rewards.
BUDGETING (BONUS SESSION)  //  This session provides practical tools to create a budget, whether traditional or pie-based, so you can live within your means. The goal is to steward God’s resources with clarity and discipline, creating margin for generosity and long-term faithfulness
