TEN WAYS TO PUT LOVE INTO ACTION:

  1. Sign up and participate in one of the Love in Action events.
  2. Clean up a local neighborhood or park, pick up litter, rake leaves, etc.
  3. Visit a nursing home to spend time with residents, play games, or read to them.
  4. Create care packages for the homeless, including toiletries, snacks, and encouraging notes, and distribute them in the community.
  5. Volunteer at a local food bank or soup kitchen, helping to sort donations, pack food boxes, or serve meals.
  6. Host a free community movie night at your church or a nearby park, providing snacks and a family-friendly film.
  7. Make and deliver a care package for local first responders, teachers, or healthcare workers, expressing appreciation for their service.
  8. Offer free lawn care services to elderly or disabled neighbors, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, etc.
  9. Partner with a local school to provide supplies, snacks, or support for teachers and students.
  10. Bake some cookies for your neighbors and when you deliver them, ask them if there’s anything you can pray for them about too.

I put love into action as I cared for my neighbors dog and cats while they were out of town.
